Please join us for an evening of celebration and song at our upcoming fundraising party, A Night to Shine, hosted by Christopher Seiwald, at Angelas Kitchen, 1640 Park Street, Alameda, on Monday, June 11, at 6:30pm.
The fun starts with tasty delights from Chef Saboor Zafari.
Then, our Master of Ceremonies, Cliff Romig, will introduce the performers, including Alameda High School alumnus and San Francisco Opera cellist, Emil Miland, and Encinal High School Senior Isabella Espinoza. Alex Boyer will sing Nessun Dorma. Eileen Meredith, and, Cliff will perform with James Meredith at the piano.
You’ll enjoy the entire evening in the company of fellow Island City Opera supporters.

We will share lots of exciting news. Brigette Lundy-Paine, Encinal High graduate and co-star of the Netflix series Atypical and currently starring in Action Point will tell you about the productions for our 2019 Season.
You will find out how you can participate in Island City Opera’s Matching Grant Challenge to make two full scale Season 2019 productions possible.
Chris Seiwald will tell you about exciting plans to build a local Performing Arts Center; Alameda’s Little Opera House.
